Turmeric Dosage For Fractures

A fracture is a medical condition in which a bone is broken mostly due to external force.

It is one of the daily and acute health issues in which the bones can be broken in different ways i.e crosswise, lengthwise and in multiple pieces.

On a daily basis a lot of fractures occur due to breakage of bone.

According to research and studies approximately 50% of women and 20% of men suffer from fracture after they are 50 years old as bones become weak as you age.

Pain is the most obvious symptom of bone injury in addition to swelling right after the fracture takes place, bruising, unable to move the affected area, angulation or in some cases maybe bleeding.

Fractures can be easily diagnosed by X-rays or MRI scans.

Most common causes of fractures are direct force, osteoporosis, overuse or repetitive motion of bone or muscle. A complicated bone fracture can sometimes be life-threatening.

Majority of bone fractures occur due to bad fall, road accidents due to powerful impact than the bones can withstand. Osteoporosis(condition of weak bones) can also be the reason for frequent fractures.

Fractures take several weeks to months for recovery.

Bone healing is a natural process hence proper rest is required for the faster treatment using plaster casts, metal plates and screws, internal steel rods etc.

Methods like ultrasound therapy, bone grafting and stem cell therapy can be useful in treating severe fractures.

A healthy diet rich in calcium and vitamin-D makes the bones stronger and less prone to fractures.
